A 4-H Camp Ohio experience offers many opportunities to develop a variety of skills such as Nature, Adventure, Living History, Water skills and Crafts.

It is proven thru adventure & nature education youth have an improvement of self-concept.  The benefits of participating in facilitated adventure activities as – the development of new confidence in oneself, increase in logical reasoning skill, increase in shared decision-making and improvement in problem-solving skills.  The physical benefits are obvious; others are more subtle but no less important.  For example, research shows that nature experiences enhances children’s cognitive flexibility, problem-solving ability, creativity, self-esteem and self-discipline.
